The intention of this image is to show my understanding of different tools within the Photoshop program. The idea was to create a collage of images using the different tools while showing a basic understanding of erasures. The concept of my piece was to use several different Disney characters within the famous House of Stairs by MC Escher. I wanted to play on the chaos of the background in order to enhance the image with my own twist. In order to make the characters look and feel like they are within the original image, i played with the angle and position of each figure. I also used drop shadows to ground the figures, but kept close attention to the shadows within the image in order to match the new shadows in relation to the light source. Using a combination of these tools and more enabled me to effectively create a chaotic collage.
